Privacy Policy — SalahPoint

SalahPoint is designed to protect your privacy. The app works entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, and it does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. There are no servers that store your information.

Information we collect

None. SalahPoint does not create a profile, does not require sign-in, and sends no personal data to me or to any third party.

How your device data is used (on your device only)

• Location: With your permission, your location is used on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is not sent to me and is not stored on any server — it stays on your device to provide these features. Determining your city or region may use Apple's system services.
• Camera and Photos: If you scan a mosque timetable, the photo is processed on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition to read the times. The photo is not uploaded and is not kept after you finish reviewing it.
• Notifications: Prayer time alerts are scheduled locally on your device.
• App data: Your settings, selected mosque, and timetable are stored only on your own device. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. There is no cloud backup.

Analytics and advertising

SalahPoint contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking tools of any kind.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription; I do not receive your payment card details or other personal payment information. Data sharing

I do not share, sell, or disclose your information, because I do not collect it.

Children

SalahPoint does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
