FACEBOSS Privacy Policy
Developer: Nadeem Hassan
Effective date: 5 August 2026
Summary: FACEBOSS processes face-tracking data only on your device and never records, saves or uploads it. The game shows Google AdMob interstitial ads at natural breaks (with consent where required) and offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. Game progress is stored locally on your device.
1. Overview
FACEBOSS is a face-controlled driving game for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how information may be processed when users play the game.
2. Face Data and Camera Processing
FACEBOSS uses Apple ARKit and the device’s front camera to access live face-tracking information solely to provide the game’s face-controlled features. During active gameplay or the Face Tracking Test, the app temporarily processes head pose and facial-expression values, including eyebrow movement, smile and tongue gestures, to steer the car, jump, activate boost and fire.
FACEBOSS does not record or save camera video or photographs. It does not create a face template, facial map, biometric identifier or identity profile. Face images, camera frames, head-pose values and facial-expression or ARKit blend-shape values are not retained after processing.
All face-data processing takes place locally and transiently on the user’s device. Face data is not uploaded to our servers, because FACEBOSS does not operate a server for face-data processing. Face data is not shared with Google AdMob, Apple, advertisers, analytics providers or any other third party.
FACEBOSS does not use face data for identification, authentication, advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling or any purpose unrelated to controlling the game.
Face-tracking information is held only momentarily in device memory while the relevant camera frame is processed. It is discarded immediately after the gameplay calculation. The ARKit face-tracking session stops when the user leaves the relevant gameplay or test screen, when the run ends where applicable, or when the app moves to the background.
Because FACEBOSS does not store face data, there is no retained face-data record to delete. Users can stop all future face-data access by denying or revoking Camera permission in iOS Settings. Deleting the app also removes locally stored game settings and progress, but there is no stored face data to remove.
3. Advertising
FACEBOSS uses Google AdMob to display interstitial advertisements at natural breaks, such as after Game Over.
Google and its partners may process information such as:
- device identifiers
- IP address
- approximate location derived from IP address
- ad interactions
- app usage information
- diagnostics and performance information
This information may be used for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement and reporting.
Advertising is not shown during active gameplay.
4. Consent and Privacy Choices
FACEBOSS uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent where required, including in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and Switzerland.
Users may review or change their advertising privacy choices through the Privacy Options control available in the app when required.
5. Remove Ads Purchase
FACEBOSS offers an optional one-time non-consumable In-App Purchase called Remove Ads.
Purchases and restores are processed by Apple through StoreKit. FACEBOSS does not receive or store users’ payment-card information.
6. Game Data
FACEBOSS may store game progress locally on the device, including:
- coins
- unlocked cars and themes
- selected cosmetics
- scores and statistics
- sound and haptic settings
- tutorial progress
- Remove Ads entitlement cache
Game Center features are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
7. Data Sharing
FACEBOSS does not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the app, including:
- Apple, for App Store purchases, StoreKit and Game Center
- Google, for AdMob advertising and consent management
8. Children
FACEBOSS is not specifically directed at children under 13. Advertising and privacy settings should be configured in accordance with the app’s final age rating and applicable laws.
9. Data Retention
Locally stored game data remains on the device until the app is deleted or the data is reset.
Advertising and consent data are retained according to Google’s policies.
10. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect the app and locally stored data, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. International Processing
Google and Apple may process information in countries outside the user’s country of residence, subject to their own privacy safeguards and legal obligations.
12. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when FACEBOSS features, advertising practices or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will be shown on this page.
